PNG to BMP Converter is a Windows app for turning PNG images into BMP images with local processing and no upload.
how it works
It uses the Canvas API library to convert each image on your Windows device. Convert png to bmp without sending anything to a server.

Press Ctrl+V to drop a copied image straight into the queue. If you grab a screenshot with Win+Shift+S, it can land here without being saved first.
batch conversion
Convert whole folders of images in one run. The folder layout is kept on the output side, so subfolders stay in the same shape.
auto-convert watcher
Open the Auto-convert page, set a watched folder and an output folder, then leave the app in the Windows system tray. Drop a fresh export there and the converted copy appears in the target folder.
right-click in explorer
A native shell extension adds Convert to BMP to the right-click menu in File Explorer for .png images. The app opens with your selection already loaded.
