refund policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
Paid purchases are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days, and if a product is genuinely defective we will put it right. Email support@weconvert.net and we will help.
who this policy is between
Wuxxu s.r.o. is the supplier of the software sold through weconvert.net. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, tax and refund processing, and it is Paddle that issues any refund.
This page describes how that works for our products. It sits alongside the Paddle refund policy, which governs the transaction itself. Where the two differ, Paddle's policy and your statutory rights take precedence over anything written here.
our refund policy
Unless required by applicable law, all purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Our products are digital goods delivered immediately, and a licence cannot be returned once it has been issued.
That stance exists because you can evaluate everything before you pay. Every converter on weconvert.net runs free in your browser, and the single-purpose desktop apps are free downloads with no account and no time limit. Please confirm that the conversion you need works on your own files before buying — the paid product adds convenience, batch processing and offline use, not different conversion results.
your statutory cancellation rights
Consumer law in some countries gives you a right to cancel a distance purchase within a fixed window. Paddle honours these on our behalf:
- EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK — 14 days
- Turkey and Israel — 14 days
- South Korea, Brazil, Canada and China — 7 days
- Singapore — 5 days
One important limit applies to digital content everywhere in the EU and UK: the right to withdraw ends once you begin downloading or using the product, if you expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you were giving the right up. Paddle asks for that consent at checkout, so a purchase you have already downloaded is normally outside the withdrawal window even inside the 14 days.
If local consumer protection law gives you additional or non-waivable rights, those rights apply — the highest level of protection available to you always wins over this policy.
how to request a refund
- Open the receipt Paddle emailed you when you paid and use the "View receipt" or support link on it. You can also go to paddle.net, find your order and choose "Request refund".
- Or email support@weconvert.net with your order or receipt number and what went wrong. We will take it up with Paddle for you.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method — they cannot be sent anywhere else — and Paddle processes them within 14 days of approval. How quickly the money appears on your statement is then up to your bank or card issuer. Your access to the product ends when the refund is issued.
technical or product defects
If the software has a material defect — it will not install, will not start, or does not do what the listing says — that is our problem to fix, not something you should have to absorb. Contact us first at support@weconvert.net so we can try to resolve it. Where we cannot, a refund is issued. Nothing in this policy limits your legal remedies for a product that is not as described.
purchases made through the Microsoft Store
The same stance applies: non-refundable unless required by law, with your statutory cancellation rights intact. The difference is who handles it. Purchases made inside the Microsoft Store — including in-app upgrades to our Store apps — are sold to you by Microsoft, not by us and not by Paddle. Microsoft processes those refunds through its own policy, from your Microsoft account order history. We can't issue a refund on Microsoft's behalf, but write to us anyway if you get stuck and we will help you chase it.
chargebacks and payment disputes
Please talk to us or to Paddle before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback freezes the order while the bank investigates, which is slower than a refund for everyone involved, and we can usually settle the matter the same week. Refunds may be refused where there is fraud, refund abuse, or a pattern of buying and reversing the same product.
discretionary refunds
Outside the cases above, Paddle may still grant a refund at its discretion, and we are happy to support a request where it seems fair. Ask — the worst outcome is that we say no and explain why.
changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and we track Paddle's policy when it changes. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top tells you when it last moved. Changes never reduce rights you already have on a purchase you have already made.
