JXL to JPG on your pc

JXL to JPG Converter is a Windows app for converting files locally, with no upload and no signup.

how it works

The app uses jSquash to convert your files on your Windows PC. It is a local jxl to jpg converter, so the work stays on your device.

paste from clipboard

Press Ctrl+V to add a file from the clipboard straight to the queue. Copy a .jxl file in File Explorer, then paste it into the app and convert it to a JPG image.

batch conversion

Convert whole folders in one run. If your source folder has subfolders, the output keeps the same folder structure.

auto-convert watcher

Set a watched folder and an output folder on the Auto-convert page. Leave the app in the Windows system tray, drop a fresh file in, and the converted image appears in the output folder.

right-click in explorer

A native shell extension adds Convert to JPG to the right-click menu for .jxl files in File Explorer. The app opens with your selection already loaded.

languages & themes

The UI ships in ten languages. Light and dark themes follow the Windows system theme automatically.
