how it works

MKV to SRT Converter uses ffmpeg.wasm to process your videos on your Windows machine. The conversion runs locally, so your subtitle files are created on-device.

paste from clipboard

Press Ctrl+V to add a copied video straight into the queue. It is a quick way to move a clip from File Explorer or another app into Convert mkv to srt.

batch conversion

Process a whole folder of videos in one run. Subfolder structure is kept on the output side, so the result stays organized.

auto-convert watcher

Open the Auto-convert page, pick a watched folder and an output folder, and leave the app in the Windows system tray. Drop a fresh video there and the converted subtitle file appears in the target folder.

right-click in explorer

Use the File Explorer context menu and choose Convert to SRT on .mkv videos. The app opens with your selection already loaded, so you can start from the right-click menu when that is faster.
